TVXC – It’s what winter Sunday mornings are for!

TVT are one of 15 clubs in and around Berkshire who each year join a league consisting of up to 8 races spread across the winter months. TVT host one of the races (usually the last event in early February)

The races are very much open to all levels, the courses vary in length (usually around 8-9km), differ in terrain and are based in various locations but all within 15-45 minutes of Reading.

There is actually a team league with points scored for higher finishing positions (both male and female) but the emphasis of TVXC is very much about having fun and keeping fit over the winter.  The league is growing in popularity with more clubs asking to join each year (which sadly we can’t accommodate) and race numbers exceeded 400 runners at many events last year. TVT had up to 30 runners in some of the races last season so its a great opportunity to meet other members and socialise.

Each race costs £2 to enter (or £3 for guests) and this covers refreshments after (hot drinks, sandwiches, cakes).

Full details of the races will soon be available at:

The website includes race results from previous seasons and is updated with details of the forthcoming race (location, parking, course details etc).
