2011 CONCORDE TRIATHLON
Concorde is TVT’s annual sprint triathlon based at Bradfield College near Theale. This event typically attracts 300+ competitors a large number of whom are new to Triathlon. Club Members do not race but help out for this event.

This was my first experience of triathlon, and I have to say that that I will be looking forward to entering again next year. Just a thank you to all your club members who helped and marshalled on Sunday, it was a great event, everyone was helpful and cheerful, it made the day even better. First time since 2005, and my first tri event for 3 years due to some health issues, I loved it Health and fitness permitting, will be back next year, tremendous event, well done and thanks. Terry

Dear Ewan & all at TVT,
I would just like to say thank you, on behalf of all of our relay teams, for organising such a fantastic event yesterday. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and have all said that they want to do it again next year – with most wanting the challenge of doing the race individually this time! We all commented on how friendly and relaxed the day was – great especially for first-timers. So thank you all, from all of us at Barratt /David Wilson Homes!

Today I had an absolute blast. To date the Concorde Triathlon is one of the best organised triathlons I have taken part in, Thames Valley Triathletes did a first class job. The course was well laid out, very clear instructions and with the right balance between safety and keeping the participants moving. All the marshalling points were well manned with multiple volunteers – all in all just first class. Certainly one I will enter again next year. D.Stopher
