IMG_1963My younger daughter, Annabelle joined the club in March 2014 at the age of 9. We have both learnt a lot about triathlon and she has competed in Tristar 2 and will this year be Tristar 3. I have recently taken over the club kit – see the separate page on kit or email me on for more info.

I competed in my first triathlon back in 1992 as a Junior. I then went on to compete in three World Championships and was Great Britain age-group team captain twice. I have several national medals to my name from both triathlon and cycling time trials. My daughter, Sophie, joined Thames Valley TriStars 3.5 years ago as a TriStart. It wasn’t long before I was helping out with some of the club administration. I am now Membership Secretary as well as running the league table, the Facebook page and sorting out the race calendar. My son, Theo, has recently joined the club which means, I really should start thinking about racing again one day!

I have been spectating Triathlons for many years, supporting my husband. Although I do run, I’m not a triathlete myself, and prefer my role as photographer and cheerleader! It was only a matter of time before our son wanted to take part too. Joe has now joined TVT and is a T2 this year. I have now taken over the Tristars website.
